نيقية في كتابات إيليا النصيبيني: المجمع، المشاركون فيه، وقانون الإيمان

لمجمع نيقية أهمية بالغة لدى إيليا، مطران نصيبين السرياني الشرقي، وأحد أبرز علماء كنيسة المشرق خلال القرن الحادي عشر. في الجزء الأول من البحث، سيتم عرض الأهمية التي يوليها لمجمع نيقية في القسم التاريخي من كتابه "إثبات صحة الإيمان"، حيث ينصب التركيز على انعقاده، والأساقفة السريانيين الشرقيين الذين شاركوا فيه، والقرارات المتخذة. في الجزء الثاني، سيتم تسليط الضوء على خصائص النَص السرياني لقانون الإيمان النيقاوي الذي يستشهد به إيليا في شرحه لقانون الإيمان، بالإضافة إلى طبيعة الترجمة العربية التي يقدمها لهذا النص. وأخيراً، سنستكشف بإيجاز الجوانب الدفاعية لشرح قانون الإيمان، حيث إنه موجّه مباشرة إلى الطوائف المسيحية الأخرى، أي اليعاقبة والملكيين، وبشكل غير مباشر إلى أتباع الديانات الأخرى، وخاصة المسلمين.
