Dr. Samer Soreshow Yohanna. Born in 07/08/1980 Nineveh - Iraq. Had a BA in Translation, Al-Mustansiriya University, Baghdad – 2005; and BA in Theology, Babel College, Baghdad – 2006, and Licentiate in Ancient Near Eastern Studies, PIB, Rome 2011, and Diploma post-laurea, Scuola Vaticana di Biblioteconomia 2013, and Doctorate in Ancient Near Eastern Studies, PIB, Rome 2014. He was Rector of Babel College for Philosophy and Theology 2015. Now he is lecturer there. He is a co-founder of the Syriac Dept. at Salahaddin University and a lecturer there since 2016. His research interests are in Textual Criticism, Text Analysis, Manuscript Studies, Comparative Semitics, Morphosyntactic Studies and Translation.
